I had lunch with a friend of mine today at Epic. We both chose the Thai Chicken Bowl. The bowl consisted of Spinach, Purple Cabbage, regular Cabbage. Carrots, Cucumbers, Cilantro and cubes of grilled White meat Chicken with a Creamy Thai dressing. Our side was Sweet Potato Chips. Overall the salad was good. There wasn't much chicken, mostly greens and I should have requested more dressing. We both thought it lacked punch! I would have liked either peanuts, crunchy noodles or sesame crisps mixed in. Even sesame roasted chickpeas would have packed some flavour to this salad. The Sweet Potato Chips were good; some were soggy and some were crunchy-- loved the crunchy ones! Overall the service was great, food was good. It just need a little push to get it to Amazing!
Stopped back in yesterday for a quick lunch! Happy to report fantastic friendly service from entering, ordering, serving and checking course the delicious food!
I've been to Epic multiple times and the inside seating is always clean and the employees are always very kind. I have chosen to be a creature of habit and only get the Loco Moco with Tofu each time, so I can say that it always hits the spot!
Best food and value in the area we could find. Overall on the healthier side too. Sweet potato chips are amazing, by far best side. (and I don't even like chips or sweet potatoes very much). Black bean burger is my go to. Kids chicken nugget meal is amazing value, ranch sauce is bomb. The strips were dry to me. Owners seem nice. Loco moco is pretty good. Any time I'm back in willmington, I'll be getting food here.
We were in town for a tournament and on our way out, we decided to eat at Epic. The employees were wonderfully patient with our disorganized selves. The food was absolutely delicious and so fresh. I had the GF Chicken Sandwich that I added the spicy house sauce to and the house ginger veggies. The Loco Moco with grilled chicken was also delicious. We had three kids that also loved the Chicken Sandwich and the tenders. Even the caveman ketchup was a hit with our ketchup loving 7yo. We have had some of the best food here in Wilmington. And I've been able to eat all kinds of things, even with having to be Gluten Free and my husband being dairy free. Will be returning next time we are in Wilmington.
